After the initial meeting, we try to get as much data about our client as possible. The more information we have, the better (and more accurate) the whole project will be. This step is enormously important for it will dictate the success of the whole endeavor to a large extent. Our philosophy is that we should be an extended hand of our client's business rather than just a separate entity dealing with the client. This, in turn, enables us to see a given problem from the client's perspective, which is a priceless advantage. Magellan-Net will also suggest what current technologies should be utilized in order to reach the broadest audience possible.

Upon finished data analysis we move on to suggest a particular solution that would suit our client the best. We vehemently oppose the so-called "package solutions" offered by some companies. In our view, every business is unique and a web site should reflect that. Therefore, the web site itself should have the "look" and "feel" of the client's business so that their customers would have no doubt as to whose web site they are visiting. Aside from a strategic solution, in this phase, we offer the client a visual solution. This would include navigation within the web site as well as the overall design.

Every project is a process that depends on both parties involved. As we move into the next phase, development, it becomes increasingly important that we get a steady stream of content (articles, logos, photographs, etc.) from our client. This will ensure, in turn, that the project is delivered on time. The development phase ends with the completion of all design as well as programming work.

Our last phase consists of testing and "tweaking". This is the time to do all possible and impossible tests to make sure that everything runs smoothly. We may even ask our clients' customers to partake in beta testing. The high point of this phase, as well as of the whole project, is a launch date. After a successful launch we will maintain the client's web site as well as do analysis of their logs. Log analysis is very important because it tells us what pages on the site are the most popular ones and why. This, in turn, enables us to suggest to the client how to make their web sites even more productive and more successful.
